Reddit search not working
At times, you might not get appropriate results for the search times, and in other instances, you might not get any search results at all. Some of the common causes of this error are as follows: If you are unable to search for the desired terms in Reddit, try these suggestions-
1] Remove any adblocker from the browser and system
Adblockers in the form of browser add-ons, at times, slow down websites and hinder their functionality. They are the primary reason for the issue in discussion. Uninstall them and see if this makes the Reddit Search work, before moving to any other solution.
2] Issues with Reddit’s servers
Reddit’s servers might not always be up. If the server is down or slagging, you might experience issues with the Reddit search. This could be checked from their website here. It details the uptime for Reddit.
3] Disable the filters
Disabling the filters (or modifying them) would give you approach to a wider variety of search results. The procedure to disable the filters is as follows: On reddit.com, click on the downward pointing arrow corresponding to your user profile. Select User Settings. Go to the Feed Settings tab.
