In Windows 10/8.1, you can also disable requiring a password on wake up from the Settings screen and log in automatically. In Windows 10, you can do it via Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. From the Windows 10 WinX Menu, open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Here, under Require sign-in, drop-down menu, you will see two options:

Make Windows 10 Auto Login after Sleep using Registry
Press Windows Key + R combination, type put Regedt32.exe in the Run dialog box and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

In the right pane of this location, you’ll find a DWORD named DelayLockInterval having its Value data set to 1. Double click on the same DWORD to modify its Value data:
